Sharing Jesus with deaf people and teaching others to do the same.
Latest News

We have many things for which to praise God! Some of our praises for 2011 include:
  • Our trip to Haiti
  • Our trip to Colombia
  • Attending the National Christian Convention of the Deaf
  • Attending the International Conference of Missions

Our work with First Christian Church has kept us busy. We continue to work with Junior Worship and King's Kids on Wednesday afternoons. This year both groups are involved in a joint effort portraying the Christmas story for the adults.

Additional opportunities are with Sign & Dine, Rail Splitters weekend, and a home school sign class all in Lincoln, IL; and Conversational Signs through the Hargrove School of Adult Education at Lincoln Christian University.

God has also opened up the door to mentor young people through Skype and Facebook. We keep in contact with missionaries on the field such as Stephanie in Cambodia and Jonathan (JR) in Ethiopia, as well as those who are preparing for the field, such as Kara from Florissant, MO.

In addition, we are continuing to work with Deaf Child Hope International. Check out the website.

While we praise God for so many things, we also have concerns and upcoming events for which we need prayer:
  • Our trip to Belize with River Hills Christian Church, Loveland OH. February 16-23
  • Continuation of our dissertation research and writing
  • Other possible mission trips (Haiti in particular)
  • Continued good health
  • Increased financial support
  • God's leading in everything

Thank you so much for your prayers!
